About This Project


Through the enhancement of the knowledge and skills of community coaches, UNICEF in partnership with MoYS aim to target participation of children and young people in sport, using sport to develop the life skills of participants, and wider community development. The focus is to reach out and encourage general participation in sport including those children and young people in disadvantaged communities. Community coaches should deliver well-planned activities in a safe environment that are enjoyable and fulfilling and lead to the development of self-esteem in individuals and communities.


  1. Develop a community coach curriculum for Egypt.
